  Korea Casualty

 

 

KILLED IN ACTION

Cpl. W. L. Kirby (right), of Hobart, who has been reported killed in action in Korea. He was a member of the 3rd Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment. He served in the Second World War, and before enlisting for Korea was on the Hobart staff of Ansett Airways. With him is Cpl. P. L. McGough (left), whose relatives have received official advice that he was wounded in action in Korea on November 5. They enlisted together and were in the same battalion.
