Quinn, Harold Roy
Born 1897 Mathinna Tasmania, the son of William Henry and Elizabeth Quinn (nee Summers), a blacksmith/striker he departed Melbourne 23rd September 1916 on board “HMAT Seang Choon with the 40th Infantry Battalion. He was admitted to the 3rd Canadian Stationary Hospital with a gunshot wound to the hip which penetrated the abdomen and died 29th March 1918. He was buried in the Doullens Communal Cemetery Extension No 1, France.
