Airey, Walter John
Born 22nd November 1884 Golconda Tasmania to William and Mary Jane Airey (nee Everon) an engine driver who departed Melbourne 30th September 1916 on board “HMAT Palermo” with the 12th Infantry Battalion. He was killed in action 5th May 1917 Bullecourt France and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France
