Allom, Owen Bertram

 

 

 

 

Cenotaph Record

 

1873 in Thames, Thames-Coromandel, Waikato, New Zealand the son of Albert James and Eliza Allom (nee Horn) a clerk he enlisted Tasmania 23rd September 1914 and embarked Melbourne 22nd December 1914 on board “HMAT Ceramic” with the 15th Infantry Battalion.

 

He was wounded 20th May 1915 on the Gallipoli Peninsula and died 7th August 1915 and is commemorated on the Lone Pine Memorial Gallipoli.
