Anderson Franklin

Born 1898 Burnie Tasmania the son Edward Robert and Mary Jane Anderson (nee Manson) of a seaman he enlisted South Australia and embarked Adelaide 21^st September 1915 on board “HMAT Star of England” with the 7^th Infantry Brigade.

He had three brothers fighting at the front.

He was serving with the 26^th Battalion when he was killed in action 18^th July 1918 in France and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, Picardie, France
