Anderson, Benjamin
He was killed in action 3rd September 1916 and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France. Private Benjamin Anderson, aged 20 was killed in the action at Mouquet Farm, a place of double family tragedy for the next day it was his brother, Private Robert James Bertram (Bert) Anderson, 28, killed there.

Anderson
served five months on Gallipoli. News
has been received that Bert
Anderson,
his brother, has now been reported missing from
