Anderson, Robert James B
Born Hobart Tasmania the son of Robert and Rebecca Anderson (nee Peoples) a railway worker he embarked Melbourne 27th October 1915 on board “HMAT Ulysses” with the 26th Infantry Battalion.
He was killed in action 4th September 1916 at Moquet Farm and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, Villers-Bretonneux Area, France.
His brother Private Benjamin Anderson (No 815) was also killed in action at Moquet Farm on the 3rd September 1916 and is also commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial,
