Anderson, Robert James B

Born Hobart Tasmania the son of Robert and Rebecca Anderson (nee Peoples) a railway worker he embarked Melbourne 27^th October 1915 on board “HMAT Ulysses” with the 26^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 4^th September 1916 at Moquet Farm and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, Villers-Bretonneux Area, France.

His brother Private Benjamin Anderson (No 815) was also killed in action at Moquet Farm on the 3^rd September 1916 and is also commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial,
