Archie, Bertie Vernon

Born 16^th April 1894 Fingal Tasmania to George and Harriett Archie (nee Rigden) a farm labourer he embarked Hobart 8^th August 1916 on board “HMAT Ballarat” with the 40^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 7^th June 1917 in Belgium and is commemorated in the Bethleem Farm West Cemetery, Belgium.
