Armstrong Stanley Russell
Born 1st. July 1893 Ulverstone Tasmania to James and Frances Armstrong (nee Carty) he was a labourer when he enlisted. Pte Armstrong was killed by a machine gun bullet in the town of Clery sur Somme. His body was carried back about four miles to the town of Curlu where he was buried.
