Atwell, Frederick Herbert
Born 27th November 1887 Hobart Tasmania the son of William and Harriet Atwell (nee Fitzroy) a roadman who embarked Fremantle 26th June 1915 on board “HMAT Wandilla” with the 12th Infantry Battalion.
He was killed in action 26th July 1916 in France when he was buried by a shell at Pozieres and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux.
