Bailey, Robert Henry

Born 1894 Tamworth New South Wales the son of Robert Henry and Mary Jane Bailey (nee Wright) a labourer living with his family in Burnie Tasmania he embarked Melbourne 8^th February 1916 on board “HMAT Warilda” with the 24^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 5^th August 1916 at Pozieres in France and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux
