Baker, Bert Henry

 

 

Born Fingal Tasmania the son of George and Jane Baker a farmer he embarked Hobart Tasmania on board “HMAT Berrima” with the 40th Infantry Battalion.

 

He was serving with the 15th Battalion when he died 4th July 1918 the result of shell wounds to the head and was buried in the Crouy British Cemetery, Crouy-Sur-Somme
