Baker, George Albert
Born 21st August 1888 Victoria Australia the son of Robert and Sarah Baker (nee Redman) a miner from Tullah Tasmania he embarked Melbourne 27th October 1915 on board “HMAT Ulysses” with the 15th Infantry Battalion.
He was appointed Lance Corporal 14th January 1917
He was killed in action 11th April 1917 at Bullecourt in France (previously reported missing) and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, Picardie, France
