Baldock Edgar
He was serving with the 3rd Machine Gun
Company when he died 4th October 1917 in
Belgium from wounds received in the field and is
commemorated on the
Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, West-Vlaanderen, Flanders,
Belgium
His brother Walter John Baldock (No 6971) was killed in action in France and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, Picardie, France. Another brother Herbert returned home wounded On Thursday Mrs. H. Jones received the sad news that her son, Edgar Baldock, was killed in action on October 4. Two other brothers are at the front.
