Bannister, William Thomas

Born 1892 Broadmarsh Tasmania the son of Thomas andAnnie Bannister (nee Nichols) a labourer he embarked Hobart 1^st July 1916 on board “HMAT Berrima” with the 40^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 3^rd January 1917 in France and is commemorated in the Cite Bonjean Military Cemetery, Armentieres, Lille, France
