Barton, Roy Cyril
Born 1890 Launceston Tasmania the son of Gilbert and Mary Barton a driver who embarked Melbourne 20th October 1916 on board “HMAT Port Lincoln” with the 12th Infantry Battalion He died 22nd September 1917 in Belgium of gunshot wounds to the back and stomach received in Polygon Wood and was buried in the Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Belgium.
