Beach, George

Born 3^rd July 1895 Emu Bay Tasmania to Charles John and Ruth Beach (nee Trower) a barber who embarked Hobart 8^th August 1916 on board “HMAT Ballarat” with the 40^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action at Messines and is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium
