Beck, Alfred Keith

He was born 1897 Launceston Tasmania to Alfred Henry and Kate Mary Beck (nee Ballard) an engineer who was a 2^nd Lieutenant in the Military Cadets and departed Melbourne 22^nd December 1914 on board “HMAT Berrima” with the 3^rd Field Company Engineers and the rank of Corporal.

Sgt Beck was killed in action 5^th June 1918 and is commemorated in the Le Peuplier Military Cemetery, Caestre, France.
