BENNETT, FRANK RUPERT

Born 9^th March 1887 New Norfolk Tasmania to William Henry and Sarah Bennett (nee Davis) he was a school teacher when he enlisted in the AIF on the 16^th October 1916.

He embarked from Melbourne Victoria on board HMAT A60 Aeneas on the 30^th October 1917, promoted to Lance Corporal 12^th May 1918, Temporary Corporal 30^th June 1918 and later to Sergeant.

He died of broncho pneumonia Abbeville France and was buried Abbeville Communal Cemetery France
