BENNETT, FRANK RUPERT

 

 

Born 9th March 1887 New Norfolk Tasmania to William Henry and Sarah Bennett (nee Davis) he was a school teacher when he enlisted in the AIF on the 16th October 1916. 

He embarked from Melbourne Victoria on board HMAT A60 Aeneas on the 30th October 1917, promoted to Lance Corporal 12th May 1918, Temporary Corporal 30th June 1918 and later to Sergeant. 

He died of broncho pneumonia Abbeville France and was buried Abbeville Communal Cemetery France
