Berechree, Leo Erwin

 

 

 

 

Born 12th June 1895 Emu Bay Tasmania the son of Thomas Stephen and Sarah Ann Berechree (nee Brewster) a labourer he embarked Melbourne 29th October 1915 with the 26th Infantry Battalion.

 

He was serving with the 12th Battalion when he was killed in action 19th August 1916 in France and is commemorated in the Courcelette British Cemetery, Picardie, France
