Berry George Arthur
Born 22nd August 1894 Kindred Tasmania the son of George Joseph and Mary Ann Berry (nee Granger) a labourer he embarked Melbourne 6th December 1916 on board “HMAT Orsova” with the 40th Infantry Battalion.
He died 6th October 1917 at the 44th Casualty Clearing Station in Belgim from multiple gunshot wounds and is commemorated in the Nine Elms British Cemetery, Poperinghe, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium
