Berry George Arthur

Born 22^nd August 1894 Kindred Tasmania the son of George Joseph and Mary Ann Berry (nee Granger) a labourer he embarked Melbourne 6^th December 1916 on board “HMAT Orsova” with the 40^th Infantry Battalion.

He died 6^th October 1917 at the 44^th Casualty Clearing Station in Belgim from multiple gunshot wounds and is commemorated in the Nine Elms British Cemetery, Poperinghe, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium
