Bethel Robert James Joseph

Born 12^th September 1896 Ringarooma Tasmania to Michael John and Edith Mary Elizabeth Bethel (nee Torley) a butcher who departed Melbourne 22^nd December 1914 on board “HMAT Ulysses” with the 14^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action on the Gallipoli Peninsula and is buried in the 7th Field Ambulance Cemetery, Gallipoli, Turkey.

He was 18 years old when he died.
