Bethel, Wilfred Michael

Born 17^th March 1894 Moorina Tasmania to Michael John and Edith Mary Elizabeth Bethel (nee Torley) a draper’s assistant who embarked Melbourne 29^th December 1915 on board “HMAT Demosthenes” with the 15^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 7^th August 1916 at Pozieres France and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France.
