Bickerton Henry

Born Bishop Auckland, Co. Durham, England, a 19 year old sailor he listed his next of kin as his sister Miss A Bickerton, 39 Craddoc Street, Bishop Auckland, Durham, England, a sailor he embarked Melbourne 20^th October 1915 on board “HMAT Port Lincoln” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 8^th October 1917 at Passchendaele and is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial (Panel 17), Belgium
