Billinghurst, George
Born 1898 Hobart Tasmania the son of Charles Henry and Mary Ann Billinghurst (nee Jones) a labourer he embarked Melbourne 25th October 1916 on board “HMAT Ulysses” with the 40th Infantry Battalion.
He was killed in action 12th October 1917 at Passchendaele Ridge Belgium when hit by machine gun fire and is commemorated in the Tyne Cot Cemetery, Passchendaele, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium
