Bishop Stanley Charles

Born 17^th September 1891 Launceston Tasmania the son of Frederick and Sarah Bishop (nee Cox) a labourer he embarked Sydney 23^rd June 1916 on board “HMAT Barambah” with the 56^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 26^th September 1916 at Polygon Wood and is commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, Flanders, Belgium
