Blackwood Alex William Hugh

Born 1893 Hobart Tasmania the son of William Henry and Elizabeth Blackwood (nee Millar) a farmer from Collinsvale Tasmania he embarked Melbourne 27^th September 1915 on board “HMAT Hororata” with the 26^th Infantry Battalion

He was killed in action 19^th May 1916 in France and is commemorated in the Ration Farm Military Cemetery, La Chapelle-Darmentieres, France
