Blake, Athol Clyde
Lance Corporal Blake was serving on the Gallipoli Peninsula when he became ill and was transferred to the hospital ship “Nile” where he died 7th September 1915 from enteric fever and was buried at sea. He is commemorated on the Lone Pine Memorial Gallipoli.
