Boyd Cyril Tasman

 

Born 18th September 1892 Ringarooma Tasmania to John Thompson and Mary Jane Boyd (nee Taylor) a grocer who embarked Melbourne 15th September 1915 on board “HMAT Makarini” with the 8th Infantry Battalion.

He was with the 60th Battalion when he was killed in action 19th July 1916 at Fleurbaix France and is commemorated in the VC Corner Australian Cemetery and Memorial, Fromelles, France.
