Boyd Cyril Tasman

Born 18^th September 1892 Ringarooma Tasmania to John Thompson and Mary Jane Boyd (nee Taylor) a grocer who embarked Melbourne 15^th September 1915 on board “HMAT Makarini” with the 8^th Infantry Battalion.

He was with the 60^th Battalion when he was killed in action 19^th July 1916 at Fleurbaix France and is commemorated in the VC Corner Australian Cemetery and Memorial, Fromelles, France.
