Bradmore, Elton Harold Born 7th August 1891 Campbell Town Tasmania to George William and Maria Sarah Bradmore (nee Smith) and was a farm labourer when he enlisted and was posted to the 40th Battalion.
Was trained at Claremont Camp, later went on to a school of instruction at Port Melbourne for Machine Gunners. He then had further training at Salisbury Plains in England prior to his departure for France. He was wounded in action (stomach) and died in the 2nd. Australian Casualty Clearing Station, France 31st. January 1917.
