Briscoe, James Michael

Born 1894 Chudleigh Tasmania the son of Francis and Sarah Briscoe (nee Howe) a miner he embarked Fremantle 19^th April 1915 on board “HMAT Argyllshire” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He was serving with the 52^nd Battalion when he died 19^th October 1917 in Belgium from shrapnel wounds to the thigh and was buried in the Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Belgium.
