Broad, David Allan
Born Forth Tasmania the son of Steven Edmund and Teresa Broad (nee Polson) a labourer he embarked Hobart 8th August 1916 on board “HMAT Ballarat” with the 40th Infantry Battalion.
He was serving with the 42nd Battalion when he was killed in action 10th June 1917 in Belgium and is commemorated in the Bethleem Farm West Cemetery, West-Vlaanderen, Flanders, Belgium
