Brown, John Thomas Alexander

Born 1897 Beaconsfield Tasmania the son of John Thomas and Elizabeth Brown (nee Hinds) a sailor he embarked Hobart 13^th December 1915 on board “HMAT Ajana” with the 26^th Infantry Battalion.

He was serving with the 12^th Infantry Battalion when he was killed in action 6^th April 1917 and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France.
