Brumby, Ernest Gladstone
Born 17th January 1891 Longford Tasmania the son of Ernest and Eliza Alice Brumby (nee Langham) a commercial traveller living in Melbourne he enlisted and embarked Melbourne 4th April 1916 on board “HMAT Euripides” with the 5th Infantry Battalion.
He was killed in action 18th August 1916 at Pozieres France and like others with no known grave is commemorated on the Australian National Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, France
