Brumby, Ernest Gladstone

Born 17^th January 1891 Longford Tasmania the son of Ernest and Eliza Alice Brumby (nee Langham) a commercial traveller living in Melbourne he enlisted and embarked Melbourne 4^th April 1916 on board “HMAT Euripides” with the 5^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 18^th August 1916 at Pozieres France and like others with no known grave is commemorated on the Australian National Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, France
