Burnie Charles

Born 2^nd July 1896 Launceston Tasmania to Arthur and Ada Susan Burnie (nee Boland) he departed Melbourne 8^th February 1916 on board “HMAT Warilda with the 22^nd Battalion

He was still serving with the 22^nd Battalion when he was killed in action 24^th August 1916 and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France.
