Bush, James William Victor

 

Born 4th April 1885 Campbell Town Tasmania to Michael James and Deborah Georgina Bush (nee Woods) and married to Alma Louise Parker, a farmer who embarked Adelaide 10th February 1917 on board “HMAT Seang Bee” with the 12th Infantry Battalion.

 He was killed a shell while on patrol on the 10th May 1918 and his body was found in a shell hole seven days later by QMG Curwin (No 362) of Devonport Tasmania and was buried where he fell.

He is commemorated in the Outtersteene Communal Cemetery Extension, Bailleul, France.
