Butler, Alfred Edward

Borm 1891 in Deloraine Tasmania the son of James and Emma Mary Butler (nee Twining) a farmer/labourer he embarked Melbourne 27^th September 1915 on board “HMAT Hororata” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 5^th May 1917 in France and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, Picardie, France
