If you could spare a few dollars to help with the running costs of hosting this website to keep it alive would be very much appreciated.

Thankyou from Gravesites of Tasmania in advance.

BUXTON, RAYMOND JAMES

On Saturday the Rev. Best, of Sheffield, had the painful duty of conveying to Mrs. G. Buxton, of Wilmot, the sad news that her youngest son, Private Ray Buxton, had been killed in action in France. Private Buxton prior to enlisting was in New South Wales, but returned to enlist in Tasmania. He was only in the firing a line a short time. Private Jack Buxton, another son, was killed in action on December 20, 1910.

We have in every instance made a good faith effort to contact and request 'reprint' permission. Nonetheless, we do want to be certain that nothing gets lost due to web site disappearance and the like, so it appears duplicated here.
