Bye Arthur Douglas

 

 

Born 22nd May 1890 Whitemore Tasmania the son of Robert and Clara Elizabeth Bye (nee Pearn) a 26 year old labourer he embarked Sydney 9th September 1916 on board “HMAT Euripides” with the 2nd Battalion.

                                                              

He died 5th November 1917 from wound received at Passchendaele and is commemorated in the Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery
