Cahill, Alfred Robert



Born 8th December 1885 Buckland Tasmania the son of John Robert and Eliza Cahill married to Helen Margaret Whitington with two children a farmer he embarked Hobart 8th August 1916 on board “HMAT Ballarat” with the 40th Infantry Battalion.


He was killed in action 13th November 1917 in Belgium and is commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, West-Vlaanderen
