Cameron William Ernest

Born Gore New Zealand, an alluvial gold miner living in Pontville Tasmania he embarked Hobart 20^th October 1914 on board “HMAT Geelong” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

 He was killed in action 25^th April 1915 on the Gallipoli Peninsula and is commemorated on the Lone Pine Memorial, Gallipoli, Turkey.
