Cameron, Percy Cyril

Born 9^th November 1890 Fingal Tasmania to William and Sarah Jane Cameron (nee Byatt) a miner who embarked Hobart 20^th October 1914 on board “HMAT Geelong with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He served on the Gallipoli Peninsula and Egypt and was invalided back to Australia for three months after suffering dysentery for months. He again embarked Melbourne 25^th October 1916 on board “HMAT Ulysses” again with the 12^th Battalion and was killed in action 22^nd July 1918 in France and is buried in the Borre British Cemetery, France.
