Cameron, Percy Cyril
Born 9th November 1890 Fingal Tasmania to William and Sarah Jane Cameron (nee Byatt) a miner who embarked Hobart 20th October 1914 on board “HMAT Geelong with the 12th Infantry Battalion. He served on the Gallipoli Peninsula and Egypt and was invalided back to Australia for three months after suffering dysentery for months. He again embarked Melbourne 25th October 1916 on board “HMAT Ulysses” again with the 12th Battalion and was killed in action 22nd July 1918 in France and is buried in the Borre British Cemetery, France.
