Campbell William McLennan

 

 

Born 8th December 1880 Scottsdale Tasmania the son of Thomas and Anne Campbell (nee McLennan) a surveyor’s chain man he embarked Sydney 9th November 1915 on board “HMAT Beltana” with the 1st Light Horse Regiment

 

He was killed in action 3rd November 1917 in Palestine and is commemorated on the Jerusalem Memorial, Jerusalem War Cemetery, Jerusalem, Israel
