Campbell, Granville Stanley

 

 

Born 20th May 1892 Scottsdale Tasmania the son of William McGregor and Martha Augusta Campbell (nee Harris) a station hand who embarked Melbourne 29th March 1916 on board “RMS Orontes” with the 12th Infrantry Battalion.

He was serving with the 52nd Battalion killed in action 7th June 1917 at Messines Ridge and is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium.
