Carr, Walter Harold
Born Castle Forbes Bay Tasmania the son of Lawrence and Alice Carr, a labourer he embarked Melbourne 8th February 1916 on board “HMAT Warilda” with the 12th Infantry Battalion.
He was serving with the 52nd Battalion when he died 7th July 1916 at the 1st Australian Casualty Clearing Station from shell wounds received in the field and was buried in the Estaires Communal Cemetery France
