Carr, Walter Harold

Born Castle Forbes Bay Tasmania the son of Lawrence and Alice Carr, a labourer he embarked Melbourne 8^th February 1916 on board “HMAT Warilda” with the 12^th Infantry Battalion.

He was serving with the 52^nd Battalion when he died 7^th July 1916 at the 1^st Australian Casualty Clearing Station from shell wounds received in the field and was buried in the Estaires Communal Cemetery France
