Chambers, Charles



He was born 1884 Kempton Tasmania to Thomas and Elizabeth Chambers (nee Sadler) a labourer who embarked Melbourne 21st October 1916 on board “HMAT Port Melbourne” with the 40th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 30th March 1918 in France and is commemorated in the Heilly Station Cemetery, Mericourt-L'Abbe, France.
