Chambers, Charles

He was born 1884 Kempton Tasmania to Thomas and Elizabeth Chambers (nee Sadler) a labourer who embarked Melbourne 21^st October 1916 on board “HMAT Port Melbourne” with the 40^th Infantry Battalion.

He was killed in action 30^th March 1918 in France and is commemorated in the Heilly Station Cemetery, Mericourt-L'Abbe, France.
