Chapman, Henry Wilson
Born 1888 Launceston Tasmania the son of Jonas and Elizabeth Rebecca Chapman (nee Hughes) a carpenter he embarked Hobart 1st July 1916 on board “HMAT Berrima” with the 40th Infantry Battalion. He died 18th February 1917 at the 2nd Australian Casualty Clearing Station from gunshot wounds to the stomach and was buried in the Trois Arbres Cemetery, Steenwerck, France.
