Chapman, Henry Wilson

Born 1888 Launceston Tasmania the son of Jonas and Elizabeth Rebecca Chapman (nee Hughes) a carpenter he embarked Hobart 1^st July 1916 on board “HMAT Berrima” with the 40^th Infantry Battalion.

He died 18^th February 1917 at the 2^nd Australian Casualty Clearing Station from gunshot wounds to the stomach and was buried in the Trois Arbres Cemetery, Steenwerck, France.
