Charlesworth, Claude William

Private Claude William Charlesworth

 

 

Born 1st June 1890 Deloraine Tasmania the son of John Charles and Ellen Charlesworth (nee Broomhall) a bushman he embarked Melbourne 29th March 1916 on board RMS Orontes with the 12th Infantry Battalion

 

He was killed in action 4th September 1916 at Moquet Farm in France and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, Picardie, France
