Christmas John Frater

 

Born 21st December 1889 Launceston Tasmania to Henry Rothwell and Jane Annie Christmas (nee Stewart) an electrician who departed Brisbane 29th June 1915 on board “HMAT Aeneas” with the 26th Infantry Battalion 7th Machine Gun Company

 He died of wounds received 30th August 1916 in England and was buried in the Netley Military Cemetery, United Kingdom
