Churcher, Ralph Erskine

 

He was born 1895 Launceston Tasmania to George and Edith Caroline Churcher (nee Lee) a plumber who embarked Brisbane 29th June 1915 on board “HMAT Aeneas” with the 26th Infantry Battalion.

Sgt Churcher was killed in action 4th April 1918 at Dermacourt France and is commemorated in the Ribemont Communal Cemetery Extension, Somme, France.
